How to choose the most suitable powder coating line according to your actual condition. Reading following 5 common used powder coating line or JUST CONTACT ME:Mode 1: Manual powder coating: pretreatment, manual spraying, manual transfer to curing oven (Curing at high temperature) - powder coating finish.
Advantages: Less investment; Spraying quality is easy to guarantee; apply to various workpieces (size and shape) spraying as long as the size of curing oven is designed reasonable; convenient maintenance, low maintenance cost, low maintenance technical difficulty; less occupied area. Not only convenient for small batch production and suitable for large batch productionDisadvantages: When processing workpieces in same size with large quantities, there will be lots of repeated labor cost caused by transfer of workpieces. Could not increase production capacity and reduce labor cost significantly
Mode 2: Full automatic powder coating line: the workpiece hanging in automatic running chain: Loading, spraying pretreatment (not including pickling), drying in low temperature drying tunnel, automatic spraying (robot hand or automatic reciprocator), manual repair painting (automatic spraying often miss some corner of the workpiece), high temperature oven curing, cooling the workpiece, unloading, powder coating finish.
Advantages: When spraying large quantities of the same workpiece, it has a considerable advantage of daily output,. And individual labor costs and energy consumption will also reduce with the increase of production.
Disadvantages: high energy consumption in small batch production. In other words, when the quanlity of workpiece cannot reach a certain number, the spraying cost will be doubled or even several times increasing; Only apply to workpieces with the standard shape in a certain range; Maintaining of spraying pretreatment requires high technical operation, pickling work is needed before loading on the line, complex maintenance and high maintenance costs, large area occupied. Applicable to long-term batch spraying of fixed workpiece.
Mode 3: semi-automatic powder coating line: pretreatment(not in the coating line), loading, manual spraying, high temperature oven curing, cooling, unloading - coating finish.
The workpiece walking automatically with the spray chain, when passing through the coating booth with two spraying stations, 2 workers each holding a spray gun complete the spraying work; the workpieces after coating come out from coating booth, entering the constant temperature curing oven, then complete curing work.
Advantages: When spraying large quantities of the same workpiece, it has a considerable advantage of daily output. Much less investment and maintenance cost and difficulty than full automatic powder coating line. Almost the same daily output capacity with full automatic line.
Disadvantages: does not apply to irregular workpieces with small batch spraying, small batch will still cause high energy consumption and spraying cost.
Mode 4: A common used automatic powder coating line: pretreatment is not included in coating line. Workpieces after pretreatment: loading, automatic spray, manual repair painting, high temperature curing in curing tunnel , coating finished.
Advantages: "automatic powder spraying" bear the most of the spraying work, enable manual spraying is not the main spraying method and greatly reduces the operator labor intensity of spraying; due to existence of "automatic spray gun", spraying speed is improved greatly. So the running speed can be greatly improved, to obtain higher yield; Eventually reduce the single spraying cost;
Disadvantages: does not apply to irregular workpieces with small batch spraying, small batch will still cause high energy consumption and spraying cost.
Mode 5: the small circulation spraying chain and curing oven with 2 sides openning: Building a small cycles spraying chain with 2 working station manual coating booth, workpiece hanging on the chain running automatically, passing through the coating booth in a constant speed, 2 workers each holding a manual spray gun spraying on the workpieces; then manually transferred the coated workpieces to curing oven; This spraying method, the spray ability accessible to" semi-automatic powder coating line ", but lower investment and smaller occupied area.
